Time Heals Everything (feat Saba, Voices Of Creation)
Blu & Exile's fifth album, cementing the efforts of this beloved Los Angeles rapper-producer duo. With a classic sensibility and a carefully harnessed lo-fi samplecraft, the duo refuse to let up momentum, talking cash and hard times through the snarled soul choruses and hardy lyricism. 'Shoe Laces' carries a quadruple internal rhyme tying Coltrane, cocaine and coal-mining origin into a single bar, while Black Thought and Mach-Hommy trade verses on 'TSOD', and Saba and the Voices Of Creation choir close things on a self-questioning note.
