Leo Gibbon returns to Mudline with barbed, a six-track suite of dust-worn, sample-driven constructions built from fragments that retain the emotional weight of their origins. Stripped back to cracked loops, tactile percussion and generous negative space, the EP moves from introspective, collage-like compositions into understated, dancefloor-facing pressure without ever losing its emotional pull. Featuring a characteristically measured appearance from James Massiah and mastered by Miles Whittaker, barbed is another raw, quietly uncompromising dispatch from Mudline.
