Dizzee Rascal returns with his ninth album, We Want Bass, and it does exactly what the title promises. This is a full-force salute to bass pressure, built for those who like their records loud, physical, and rooted in the club.
With a sharp focus on purpose-built dancefloor bangers, We Want Bass taps into the UK’s ever-evolving underground scene. The production is bass-driven throughout, giving Dizzee Rascal the perfect space to do what he does best.
Bar after bar, he delivers irreverent lyricism and infectious hooks with real confidence. It’s a record that feels plugged directly into the energy of the dancefloor while keeping Dizzee Rascal front and centre.
